Welcome to COLORS!
El tema de los colores es el concepto más básico para comenzar un curso de inglés con los pequeños, nuestro mundo está lleno de colores por donde quiera. A los pequeños les encantan los colores fuertes y vivos, sin embargo hay una manera sistemática para enseñarlos que sea apropiado para cada una de las edades:
Colors for each age Group:
2 to 3 years old: Identificar, buscar el color y mostrarlo. Hacia los tres años y aquellos que tienen mas manejo de la lengua materna lo repiten y después lo dicen solitos.
Colores: red, yellow, blue, green, Pink
Díficiles: orange and purple
A traves de animales: brown and black
Se debe implementar muchos objetos de cada color y la duración de cada uno es alrededor de 1 a 2 semanas. Se trabaja juegos, canciones, rimas y videos para cada color. Se culmina con el worksheet, en donde se implementa los comandos para llevarlo a cabo.
3 to 4 years old: Identifican los colores en su medio ambiente y la mayoría lo repiten y lo dicen. Pueden contestar preguntas sobre este tema.
Difíciles: White and gray, estos se ven con los animales
La duración con cada color es de 2 clases más o menos, se implementa igual que el grupo anterior, pero ya se pueden trabajar varios colores a la vez después de introducirlos individualmente. A esta edad ya discriminan los colores entre si y pueden ser la diferenciación.

TIPS DE PRONUNCIACIÓN
Con el color white en el inglés Americano en algunos casos no suena la T al final. En las actividades de pronunciación de esta unidad no suena.
Gray or Grey
Las dos formas son correctas. Grey es en inglés britanico y Gray en inglés Americano, aunque en Estados Unidos puedes encontrar las dos formas indiscriminadamente. En esta unidad vamos a trabajar más enfocado con la escritura Americana.
JUEGO ESTRUCTURADA
Run and touch: El docente coloca flashcards en la pared, en fila, hace 2 o 3 filas de estudiantes dependiendo del tamaño del grupo, el docente dice el vocabulario de una de las flashcards, los primeros de la fila salen corriendo para tocarla.
